Enhancing the Capacity of Black Culturally Specific Providers (BCBP)

Under the American Rescue Plan, $5.2 million in funding was awarded to 20 culturally specific organizations.

Developed by and for the Black community supporting Black women and girls who are survivors of domestic violence, each grant recipient will receive $275k in total funding for two and a half years.

We support BCBP Grantees with technical assistance to:

Increase Black victims and survivors’ access to domestic and sexual violence services.

Promote strategic partnership development and collaboration in responding to public health concerns for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Use grant funds to target, support, and assist populations consisting of sexual assault and domestic violence survivors in the Black community.
