HBCU Program

We collaborate with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to keep our campuses safe.

Through our HBCU program, we help campuses successfully meet their goals and deliverables in terms of the historical legacies of HBCUs and the intersectional identities of students, staff and faculty of our campus communities.

Campus Program

We are the dedicated technical assistance provider for HBCU recipients of the Grants to Reduce Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking on Campus Program (Campus Program). Funding is administered by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women (OVW).

The Campus Program encourages a comprehensive, coordinated community approach to enhance victim safety by providing services and support for victims, and supporting efforts to hold offenders accountable.

This includes developing and strengthening trauma-informed victim services and strategies to prevent, investigate, and respond to sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking on campus.

Resource Project

OVW administers another technical assistance initiative known as the Campus Technical Assistance and Resource Project (Resource Project).

This provides campus grantees with the training, expertise, and problem-solving strategies required to address sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.

We provide technical assistance to HBCU grantees within the Resource Project, offering culturally specific in-person and online educational opportunities, peer-to-peer consultations, site visits, and tailored assistance grantees and potential grantees.
