Our Programs
National Center for Culturally Responsive Victim Services (NCCRVS)
Through our partnership with the National Organization of Sisters of Color Ending Sexual Assault (SCESA), we have introduced the NCCRVS which addresses systemic barriers and historical biases while increasing the capacity to support our victims and survivors from communities of color.
Enhancing the Capacity of Black Culturally Specific Providers (CSSP)
We assist the grant recipients of the American Rescue Plan through Enhancing the Capacity of Black Culturally Specific Providers Technical Assistance (CSSPTA). This ensures continued support for Black women and girls who are survivors of domestic violence.
National Resource Center on Domestic Violence and Family Violence in the Black Community
Our community assessment tool has been created to identify the needs of underserved and marginalized victims in relation to the criminal justice system and provide corresponding training and TA regarding the implementation of the tool.
Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) Training and Technical Assistance Initiative
Our collaboration with HNCUs ensures they meet their goals and deliverables in terms of historical legacies, with a drive to implement policies that keep our campus communities safe.

Office on Violence Against Women Programs
We work with communities to assist in the development, implementation, evaluation, tracking, and grant reporting of programs funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women (OVW). This includes on-site community activities, listening sessions, national conferences, webinars, peer-to-peer exchanges, and grant reporting.
Culturally Specific Services Program: Improving Responses & Advocacy for Black Survivors
We provide countrywide training to increase the capacity for more targeted and culturally specific services for Black survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
Domestic Violence Fatality Review Teams - Ensuring Culturally Specific Responses
We provide training and technical assistance to local, state, and tribal governments to better support victims from marginalized communities in accessing safety and justice.
Domestic Violence Resource for Increasing Safety and Connection (DV RISC)
We have partnered with The Domestic Violence Resource for Increasing Safety and Connection (DV RISC), as well as The National Center for Violence Against Women in the Black Community, Esperanza United, and The Center for Justice Innovation to implement strategies that prevent domestic violence in marginalized communities.
Firearms and Technical Assistance Project (FATP)
Gun violence disproportionately impacts communities of color yet the current methods of tackling this surge haven’t made our communities any safer. Through our FATP we support community violence intervention (CVI) programs to reduce shootings and homicides.
Improving Racial Equity Across Courthouses (IREACh): The Intersection of Racial Equity and Procedural Fairness in the Courts Technical Assistance and Training Project
Through the IREACh project, we provide courts with technical assistance and training on racial equity and procedural fairness to improve the court processes in civil, criminal, and family courts addressing domestic violence.
Improving Criminal Justice Responses (ICJR) Culturally Specific and Underserved TTA Consortium Project
We provide training and technical assistance to grantees and potential grantees of the ICJR program. This encourages state, local, and tribal governments and courts to treat domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking as serious violations of criminal law, requiring the coordinated involvement of the entire criminal legal system.
